Important Note About Summer Technology Professional Development
Registration for our summer tech sessions has been very slow. If we don’t have a minimum of 10 participants registered for a particular session we will be forced to cancel it. While the deadline listed on 48 Carats is the day before each session, we really need to know sooner than that if you plan to attend. If you plan to attend any of the sessions, sign up on 48 Carats by next Tuesday, June 9th. On Wednesday we’ll check the numbers. If your session is cancelled I will contact you via email. A plan is in the works to create online versions of some of the sessions so that we can still get the information out to those who are interested. If we go that route, we’ll let you know via email.
Rather than give you a new TGIF on this last day of school, I thought I’d summarize the content of the TGIFs from the past few months. I copied and pasted the text of each TGIF (after deleting names and email addresses) into Wordle (http://www.wordle.net) and here’s the result… I love the fact that “students” was the most frequently used word!
Have a great summer, everyone!
