Word of the Week ~ December 6-10

This week’s Word of the Week was chaotic, presented by Mrs. Reardon. It is an adjective that describes when something is completely out of control or disorganized. Northside students had many great sentences using the word chaotic. Here are a few:

“At the Battle of Pearl Harbor it was chaotic when the Japanese attacked.”  by Christian, Grade 5

“The chorus line was chaotic. Someone tripped and they were off key and all of them were singing a different song!” by Emily, Grade 4

But this week’s winner was one that everyone at Northside could relate to. After more than a week of problems with the clocks in our buildings, 1st grader David wrote,

“The clocks in the school are chaotic. Some clocks are not the right time. Some go back and forth.”

Can you use the word chaotic in a sentence?
